We met on the roads. Between miles, we talked about everything, mostly board games and improv. Training for the NYC Marathon meant hours of that. Eventually the question changed from "what games do we love?" to "why don't we make one?"
Conversations started in January 2024. More than 2 and a half years later, here we are having officially published our first game.
Bidder Battle came from our love of storage auction and picker shows. That thrill of finding a gem where you least expect it. Mix that with social deception, playful strategy, and everyone talking at the table, and the game basically designed itself.
